The People’s Republic of China is expecting the largest world fair ever, with 70 million visitors and over 240 countries and international organisations such as the Red Cross and the United Nations. The Expo 2010 will take place on a 5.28 km˛ site spread across both sides of the Huangpu River in the metropolis of Shanghai.
