The epa screen presence is an interactive screen saver for Windows operating systems providing you with current news photography of topics chosen by you. These images will be presented as an ongoing image feed. In addition, we will feature epa's Picture of the Day and epa's Best Pictures, a selection of our most outstanding images of the day.

Installation

To install the epa screen presence please execute the setup program.
After the installation has been completed successfully the Windows dialogue "Display Properties" is opened. Clicking on the "Settings" button causes the configuration of the epa screen presence to open.
In addition, during the installation an icon by means of which the epa screen presence can be started is created on the desktop as well as a program folder in the Windows start menu.

System Requirements
To ensure the smooth operation of the epa screen presence the following system requirements should be met:
•  Operating system Windows 98 SE, Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Vista
•  Processor with 500 MHz clock speed or better
•  At least 128 MB RAM
•  Available capacity of 10 MB disk space
•  Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher

Starting the epa screen presence
According to the settings defined in the "Display Properties" Windows automatically starts the epa screen presence as soon as the PC has not been used for a specified amount of time. As an alternative you may manually start the epa screen presence by means of the button "Preview" on the "ScreenPresence" tab in the "Display Properties" dialogue.

Configuration
In the configuration you can specify how often epa screen presence is to load updated news this. You can ensure that no unwanted costs for online access incur. In addition, you may define the contents that are to be shown in the current news. For this purpose, there are various topic channels, subdivided into clearly arranged categories that you may add to or remove by simply clicking on configure.
