Southeast Asia's largest textile company, PT Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex) was founded in 1966 by local entrepreneur Muhammad Lukminto in Solo, Central Java province, Indonesia. It was started as a small garment store at a traditional 'Klewer' market.

 

The integrated company that has three weaving plants, nine spinning plants, three printing plants and seven garment plants is now employing 16,000 people. Sritex supplies military apparels to 29 countries and has been appointed as the official partner for NATO countries to produce military uniforms.
