FINA Swimming World Championships

The 17th FINA World Championships take place from 14 - 30 July 2017 in Budapest, Hungary. They are organised by the Swiss-based Fédération Internationale de Natation ("International Swimming Federation" - FINA) and have been held on a biannual basis since 2001.

 

The 2017 World Aquatics Championships is the largest sporting showcase Hungary has ever hosted. A total of 180 countries and regions have confirmed their participation with almost 3.000 athletes competing in 75 competitions supported by their coaches and officials.
