The epa management would like to inform that there is the following opening we are looking to recruit:

 

MANAGER MARKETING & COMMUNICATION (m/f/d)

The European Pressphoto Agency, a global visual content provider with headquarters in Frankfurt, is seeking an experienced Marketing & Communication manager to support its market expansion. The successful candidate will develop and deliver creative marketing and communication strategies and plans to support the company rebranding and increase digital brand awareness at a very exciting period of transformation for the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a results-driven, multi-platform communications strategy and plan in line with corporate and brand direction
  • Spot new marketing opportunities and carry out marketing initiatives
  • Create and maintain consistent corporate brand message, across product lines, events, and marketing collateral
  • Lead the planning and implementation of PR communications and initiatives
  • Implement online marketing activities including social media, SEO/SEM, lead generation, etc.
  • Liaise and work closely with digital marketing and PR agencies
  • Perform data analysis to track business performance and identify opportunities to grow revenues
  • Ensure effective monitoring and maintenance of company’s marketing budget
  • Supervise the design, production, and distribution of collateral and promotional materials to support epa’s sales and marketing programs
  • Create and distribute marketing & communication collateral such as newsletters, presentations, emails and brochures, press releases
  • Coordinate epa’s involvement in the activities of community organizations

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising or related field is required
  • Proven experience within the photo, video, news media or advertising industry
  • Experience with NFTs would be a plus
  • Experience working on digital marketing campaigns
  • Familiar with B2B and B2C marketing campaigns
  • Native English language and business proficiency in German language. Other languages would be an asset
  • A strong network of PR and media contacts would be highly advantageous
  • Good knowledge of content development and SEO/SEM and Google Analytics tools
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Proactive and creative
  • Strong motivation, leadership and team management skills
  • Analytic ability

The epa management would like to inform that there is the following opening in Berlin, Germany, we are looking to recruit:

 

Senior IT Systemadministrator (m/f/d)

Full-time

 

The candidacy is open to professionals with profound knowledge in visual journalism and the industry.

Tasks:

  • IT Support to epa’s team worldwide and in the Frankfurt HQ
  • Administration of Linux servers and virtual environment using VMWARE
  • Setting up automated tasks using Ansible
  • IT related projects and assignments, e.g. implementation of workflows and automatization
  • System and network administration
  • Maintaining IT security and data protection
  • Backup and disaster recovery using Veeam
  • Maintaining training material and conducting training sessions for end-users
  • Perform 24/7 on call duty one week per month

Qualification:

  • Work experience for a minimum of 5 years in IT
  • Knowledge of heterogeneous system and network environments
  • At least one certification as CCNA/MCSA or similar
  • Funded knowledge of scripting or programming languages is a plus
  • Funded knowledge in network security, VPN, routing and protocols
  • Experience with monitoring software (Check_MK)
  • Experience with common database systems, SQL, MySQL
  • Experience in Google Workspace
  • Experience with Cloud Providers like GCP/AWS/AZURE is a plus
  • Very good knowledge of English, good knowledge of German would be a plus
  • Team spirit, commitment and ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to travel, to work in shifts

VISUAL JOURNALIST, MUNICH (m/f/d)

Based in: Munich/Germany   |   Effect from: ASAP

Full-time

 

The candidacy is open to professionals with profound knowledge in visual journalism and the industry.

 

Applicants should have the following qualifications:

  • Solid experience as a visual journalist and the willingness to work in a demanding news environment
  • Ideally a degree in Communication, Journalism or Photography
  • Ideally experience in an international news agency or news media
  • Proven experience in planning and organizing photo, video and multimedia coverage
  • Outstanding photographic, videographic and editing skills
  • Good knowledge of German news, sports, economics and arts, culture & entertainment topics
  • Excellent news sense and communication skills
  • Proficient in English and German
  • Team spirit
  • Flexibility and ability to work under time-pressure
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 news environment with irregular hours, shifts rotation and regular travel

Duties include:

  • Photographic and video graphic coverage of newsworthy events (politics, sports, cultural and business events) and features on a daily basis in coordination with the Bureau Chief Germany
  • Monitoring of news sources – be it social media, TV, newspapers, internet etc.
  • Participation in major (sports) team coverages - organizing stringer or hand out coverage where needed and in cooperation with the Bureau Chief Germany
  • Close cooperation with the different desks and the editorial management in Frankfurt
  • Networking to assure a comprehensive coverage from the UK
  • Advising on upcoming events that require coverage
  • Research of background and information sources to write headlines and captions from a journalistic point of view
  • Story research and identifying good subjects for feature packages to be produced, in close coordination with Bureau Chief Germany
