With immediate effect we are looking for a


for our financial department.


Duties include:

  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
  • Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts
  • Coordinate company financial planning with the epa CFO
  • Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements in cooperation with the epa CFO
  • Develop an understanding of all areas of the company, in Germany and world-wide, and come forward proactively with proposals for optimized operations
  • Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop budgets and business plans for the company
  • Establish and maintain an efficient controlling structure
  • Serve on planning committees
  • Oversee financial management of epa’s foreign operations abroad
  • Developing financial and budget policies and procedures
  • Project cost control in coordination with the respective department heads



Responsible and efficient handling of the company’s financial planning, liquidity planning and budget management functions in close cooperation with the epa’s CFO


Applicants should have:

  • A Masters Degree in Finance or Accounting or adequate professional experience
  • Experience in a finance or accounting position
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and HGB
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
  • Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, German as an asset
  • Professional written and verbal communication and entrepreneurial skills
  • Good computer skills (MS Office), ideally knowledge of Microsoft Business Solution Navision Dynamics
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • Capability to work independently Trustworthiness, loyalty and accuracy
  • A service-oriented but assertive attitude
