Clemens Bilan

Clemens Bilan is an epa staff photojournalist, based in Berlin, Germany, where he was born in 1974. He studied musicology and communication in Berlin, but canceled studies in favor of a journalistic traineeship with former German news agency ddp. After completing, Clemens became a staff photographer for several years with ddp and its successor dapd. He joined Getty Images as a stringer and worked freelance for various clients after dapd was shut down.
Clemens joined epa in 2017 as part of the newly established team of epa photographers in Germany. He mostly covers news topics with an affection for politics and spot news.
