Tour de France
The 106th Tour de France ran from 06 - 28 July 2019. For the second time the Grand Départ tooks place in the Belgium capital of Bruxelles. From there the 176 athletes of 22 teams cycled a total distance of 3,480 kilometres in 21 stages through Belgium and the Hexagon. This year's route comprised an opening stage visiting Charleroi and looping back to Brussels, to connect the regions of Flanders and Wallonia in a stage. The cyclists started their last stage in Rambouillet before reaching the finishing line on the Champs Élysées in Paris, France.
